For guests flying inThere is no direct public transit that will take you to the venue. We are looking into renting a transport from NYC to the venue on Sunday, and back to NYC on Tuesday. We will be reaching out shortly to those that will be coming from NYC area or flying into it if this is something you are interested in.

How to get hereFrom the Albany area and Points North (~1.75hrs): Take New York State Thruway (87) South towards New York City. Get off at Exit 19, Kingston. Take Route 28 West (toward Pine Hill.) Travel approximately 30 miles on Route 28 West to Big Indian/Oliverea. Turn left onto County Route 47 (just after a brown sign on Route 28 which says “Oliverea 3 miles”). Proceed 5 miles on Route 47. Full Moon is on the right. You will see signs. Pull down the Full Moon driveway, parking areas should be clearly designated. If you see the entrance for Pine Hill, on your left, you have gone too far. From the New York City area and Points South (~2.5hrs): Take the New York State Thruway (87) North to Exit 19 (Kingston). Take Route 28 West (toward Pine Hill.) Travel approximately 30 miles on Route 28 West to Big Indian/Oliverea. Turn left onto County Route 47 (just after a brown sign on Route 28 which says “Oliverea 3 miles”). Proceed 5 miles on Route 47. Full Moon is on the right. You will see signs. Pull down the Full Moon driveway, parking areas should be clearly designated. If you see the entrance for Pine Hill, on your left, you have gone too far. From Buffalo/Rochester area and Points North West (~4.5hrs-Roch/5.5hrs-Buff): Take the New York State Thruway (I-90) East to Exit 39 (Syracuse). Take I-81 South (toward Binghamton.) Travel approximately 75 miles on I-81 South and, near Binghamton, take NY-17E toward New York. Travel approximately 47 miles on NY-17E to Exit 90; RT-30 N (toward Downsville). Merge quickly onto NY-30 / CR-17 / OLD RT-17 (slight Right). Continue to follow NY-30 for about 38 miles (some curves and turns). Turn Right on NY-28 and travel for approximately 16 miles. You will pass Peekamoose Restaurant (on your right), go over a bridge and see a statue of an Indian on your right as you near the resort. After you pass the Indian statue take a sharp right onto County Route 47. Proceed 5 miles on Route 47. Full Moon is on the right. You will see signs. Pull down the Full Moon driveway, parking areas should be clearly designated. From the Boston area and Points North East (~4hrs): Take Mass Pike West (I-90). Travel approximately 150 miles and merge onto New York State Thruway West (I-87). After about 7miles, merge onto I-87 South towards New York City. Get off at Exit 19, Kingston. Take Route 28 West (toward Pine Hill.) Travel approximately 30 miles on Route 28 West to Big Indian/Oliverea. Turn left onto County Route 47 (just after a brown sign on Route 28 which says “Oliverea 3 miles”). Proceed 5 miles on Route 47. Full Moon is on the right. You will see signs. What Should I Bring?The wedding location, Full Moon Resort, is nestled in the rustic Catskill Mountains. Full Moon has hiking trails nearby, a 6 hole Frisbee golf course, and three large fields on the grounds. If you’re interested in taking advantage of these options, please feel free to bring your own gear with you. (hiking boots, sneakers, sunscreen, Frisbee, sports gear, bocce ball set, etc.) Also, the evenings can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket or sweater. - Bathrobe/slippers (some guest rooms have shared/hall baths) - Toiletries/medicine; the Front Desk has emergency and basic medical equipment (bandaids, tylenol, etc) - nearest pharmacy is approximately 20 minutes from Full Moon. - Bug spray & Sunscreen - Flashlight or headlamp (It gets dark in the country) - Umbrella or raincoat (just in case)

Will There be Cell Phone Reception?There is no cell phone reception at Full Moon Resort. You will start to lose cell service 20 minutes from the resort. Complimentary phone service for all calls within the U.S. is available at all times at the Inn. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the facility, no passwords required. Most cell phones have Wi-Fi calling capability. Or there are apps that you can download that use Wi-Fi for calling and messaging.

What Does Full Moon Provide For Their Guests?Full moon is a rustic lodging facility, not a hotel, but it's quaint, clean, and provides: - Bath towels - Bed linens - Shampoo, conditioner and bar soap - Complimentary teas and coffee in the Valley View House (Main Inn) from the time breakfast is served until the last meal of the day is served - Complimentary Wireless Internet - Free long-distance phone service from the Valley View House. Please note: cell phones do not work at Full Moon – There are no cell phone towers in this part of the Forest Preserve Housekeeping services are not provided during the course of the stay. Extra towels may be obtained from the Front Desk as needed.

Can I Bring My Pet?Pets are not allowed at Full Moon. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends.

Can I Bring My Own Alcohol?Personal-stock alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private room, but not allowed in public areas due to State Liquor Laws.

What food & beverages are available during my stay?There is a beverage vending machine available in the billiard room; however, we encourage our guests to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for those times that there will be no services available. The closest store is about 20 minutes away.

Where Can I Smoke?All buildings are non-smoking. However, feel free to take a nice walk away from the crowd and smoke if you have to. In addition, please do not light candles, incense, or any combustible materials in guest rooms.

What Happens If I Lose Something While I'm At Full Moon?Personal belongings must be removed from the facility at check out. Full Moon cannot accept responsibility for belongings left behind.

How Can Guests Be Reached At Full Moon?During business hours the best number to reach guests at Full Moon is (845) 254 - 5117 (the front desk number). After hours all calls roll over to our answering service. Emergency messages will be sent to Full Moon Resort's Managers whom will relay the message to you in a timely manner. You can also email, text or call through the WiFi if your cell phone has this capability.

Where else can I stay?There are lots of Airbnbs near Full Moon Resort! There are also some smaller local hotels and motels within 20-30 minutes from the venue. In addition, we have a room block at the Hampton Inn in Kingston, NY from October 12th-14th, 2025. This hotel is 45-50 minutes away from the venue. King or 2 Queen Rooms - $169.00 per night plus 12% tax. Included with a stay is a daily breakfast buffet, Wi-Fi, and parking. Each room features the Hampton bedding collection, super comfortable beds, and a mini-fridge and microwave.
